Terms
Terms and conditions
The small print, written as simply as we can. These terms apply when you buy from us. They don't affect your legal rights.

1. About us
This website is run by [BUSINESS NAME], [ADDRESS LINE 1], Westcliff-on-Sea, [POSTCODE], United Kingdom [COMPANY NUMBER AND REGISTERED OFFICE, IF A LIMITED COMPANY]. You can contact us at hello@sparkleandsquish.co.uk.
2. Who can order
You must be 18 or over to place an order. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
3. Our squishies
Each squish shows the age it's suitable for. Please follow the age guidance and any warnings on the product and packaging, and read our safety tips. Colours and shapes can vary a little from the pictures.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (£). [VAT STATEMENT: e.g. "We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged." or "Prices include VAT."] Delivery costs are shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order. If we've made an obvious mistake with a price, we'll contact you before we send anything, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Your order
After you pay, Stripe will email you a receipt. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't supply a squish you've ordered, for example because it's sold out, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
6. Delivery
See our delivery and returns page for delivery times and costs. Your order is your responsibility once it's delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Changing your mind
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. Please see how to return something. We'll refund the price of the squishes and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of getting them back (or of you showing us you've sent them). [RETURN POSTAGE: e.g. "You pay the cost of sending items back."] We may reduce your refund if a squish has been used or damaged more than you'd need to check it, just as you would in a shop.
8. If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our squishies must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, email us with a photo. Within 30 days of delivery you can ask for a full refund. After that, we'll offer a repair or replacement, or a refund if that isn't possible. This is on top of your right to change your mind. For more about your rights, see Citizens Advice.
9. Safety and recalls
If we ever find a safety problem with a squish you've bought, we'll contact you using the email address from your order and tell you what to do.
10. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We don't exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. We only sell to households, so we're not responsible for business losses.
11. Other important terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.
